MONITORING AND EVALUATION STRATEGY





                 The Monitoring and Evaluation strategy of the Social Marketing campaign to change the
                 pro-violence social norms intends to:
                 a)     Inform the design of the CSJP Social Marketing campaign(s) to tackle cultural

                        norms that support violence and crime;

                 b)     Guide the monitoring/assessment of the Social Marketing campaign(s) on attitudes,
                        perceptions and norms relating to violence and crime amongst the target
                        population;

                 c)     Provide indicators to inform the Social Marketing designers on what to measure.



                 A  Guide  for  Monitoring  and  Evaluating  is  presented  below.  It  is  a  Social  Marketing
                 Intervention that introduces and reinforces non-violent norms that will counter pro-violent

                 norms, and ultimately engender positive change.



                 The proposed CSJP Social Marketing strategy will be based on the following four pillars:
