Overview
The following Branches report directly to the Executive Office of the Ministry of National Security and Peace, providing strategic support, oversight, and coordination functions across the organisation.
Branches
Strategic Planning and Performance Management Branch (SPPMB)
Located in the Office of the Permanent Secretary, the SPPMB ensures the Ministry's operations are strategically aligned with national security priorities. It develops and implements a data-driven, results-focused strategic planning framework integrating resource management, alignment with national priorities, and continuous improvement.
Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO)
The EPMO provides project management support and oversight to the portfolio of projects and programmes within the Ministry and its Agencies, implementing a robust Project Management Framework focusing on governance, capacity building, monitoring, prioritisation, and benefits realisation.
Citizen Security Secretariat (CSS)
Cabinet approved the establishment of the Citizen Security Plan (CSP) in May 2020 as a component of Plan Secure Jamaica. The CSS is the monitoring hub of the CSP and the Violence Prevention Partnership Programme (VPPP), providing technical and advisory support to MDAs, conducting data analysis, and forging partnerships to address citizen security.
