NCDA TREATMENT METHODOLOGY

                 As shown in Figure 2, the process of the NCDA counselling intervention involves:
                 •      Intake and continuous assessment

                 •      Drug education sessions
                 •      Individual and group counselling (building self-efficacy through motivational

                        enhancement strategies and cognitive behavioural therapy)
                 •      Family counselling to aid assessment and treatment and to provide support for the

                        beneficiaries
                 •      Drug screening and monitoring

                 •      Referrals for psychiatric and medical evaluations
