tools proposed were daily log sheets from staff (primarily VIs), conflict mediation forms,
behaviour change assessment forms and community surveys. It was agreed that the Cure
Violence web-based data base would host the Jamaica VIP data, and that analyses of
data would be done using that platform.
In addition to the five areas of standard Cure Violence practice that are noted above, the
VIP included a therapeutic support component where psychologists and social workers
provided psycho-social support to victimized families, groups and individuals.
