Overview
The Security Technical Services and Project Management Branch provides technical expertise and project management oversight for security-related infrastructure and technology projects within the Ministry. The Branch ensures that security technical systems are properly designed, procured, implemented, and maintained to support operational effectiveness.
Key Functions
- Technical design and specifications for security systems and infrastructure projects
- Oversight and quality assurance of security technology installations
- Project management for security capital works and infrastructure upgrades
- Technical evaluation of vendor proposals and security equipment
- Coordination with JCF, JDF, and other agencies on technical security requirements
- Maintenance scheduling and life-cycle management of security technical systems
