Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Security and Peace Not Hospitalised
The Ministry of National Security and Peace refutes claims that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Security and Peace, Hon. Dr. Horace Chang, is hospitalised.
Dr. Chang, who underwent elective surgery in late 2025, has been recovering well since being discharged. The Minister did not suffer a health emergency, and such rumours are baseless and fictitious.
The Ministry stands with the rest of the Government in the fight against the spread of misinformation and disinformation shared with the intent of misleading and distracting the public.
In expressing appreciation to concerned Jamaicans, the Security and Peace Minister reiterated that he is “fine and recovering well”.
