Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, the Hon. Dr. Horace Chang is expressing condolences to the family and colleagues of Constable Ricardo Fairclough, who was killed yesterday while intercepting a robbery in St. Ann.
The Security Minister says he is deeply saddened by the murder of the Constable but lauds his efforts in displaying his commitment to the Force.
While commending the courage and dedication of the officer, Minister Chang said “I urge the police force to do all that is required to apprehend the criminals that would carry out this wicked act and bring them to justice as fast as possible.”
He further added: “Constable Fairclough was an outstanding young police officer who demonstrated a level of professionalism. He was a special and dedicated young man in our law enforcement team.”
The Security Minister is urging members of the public with information on the murder of Constable Fairclough to visit the nearest police station.
