The Corporate Services Division is the backbone of the Ministry, providing the people, systems, and resources that keep programmes running smoothly. We deliver professional support across human resources, finance, procurement, information & communication technology, facilities and fleet, records and information management, and general administration. By setting standards, ensuring compliance with Government of Jamaica policies and the Data Protection Act, and driving continuous improvement, the Division enables the Ministry’s teams to focus on their core mission of public safety and service to citizens.
What we do
- Recruit, develop, and support staff; lead wellness and workplace initiatives
- Manage budgeting, payments, and financial reporting with strong internal controls
- Procure goods and services transparently; manage assets, inventory, and contracts
- Provide reliable ICT services, cybersecurity, and digital transformation support
- Maintain buildings, security, transport, and emergency preparedness
- Oversee records, information governance, and customer service/communications
- Lead risk management, policy compliance, and performance monitoring
